Player Wellbeing

Responsible Gambling at Singobet

Singobet is built around the belief that gambling should be an enjoyable form of entertainment — never a source of financial stress or personal harm. This page outlines our commitments, the tools available to you, and how to get help if you need it.

For Players Aged 21+ Only Play Responsibly

Our Commitment

Gambling Is Entertainment. We Keep It That Way.

At Singobet, responsible gambling isn't a compliance checkbox — it's a core part of how we operate. Every tool on our platform, every policy we enforce, and every decision we make about player experience is filtered through one question: does this genuinely protect the players who use us?

We know that for the vast majority of Singobet players across Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Petaling Jaya, and beyond, gambling on football, live casino, and slots is straightforward fun. You watch Liga Super Malaysia and enjoy a flutter on the match. You wind down with a few rounds of Baccarat. That's exactly what this platform is built for.

But we also know that for a minority of players, gambling can escalate beyond what was intended. Problem gambling is a recognised condition that can affect anyone, regardless of income, education, or background. Our role is to make sure the tools stay in control are always available — before, during, and after a session — and that players who need support can find it quickly.

If gambling is causing distress right now, help is available.

21+

Minimum Age Requirement

The Singobet Platform is strictly for players aged 21 years and above. Age is verified during registration and enforced through our KYC process. No account is fully activated until age is confirmed. Any player found to be under 21 will have their account closed immediately and all funds returned to the deposit source.

Singobet's Responsible Gambling Pledge

Never target vulnerable players — We do not send bonus promotions to players who have set deposit limits or activated cooling-off periods.

Honour all self-exclusion requests immediately, without question, with no grace period.

Train our support team to identify signs of problem gambling and respond with empathy and appropriate referals.

Enforce deposit limits strictly — increases require a24-hour cooling period before they take effect.

Make responsible gambling tools easy to find — not buried in menus where players are unlikely to look.

Tools & Controls

Your Responsible Gambling Toolkit

All of these tools are available from your account dashboard. They work immediately — except where noted — and are not reversible during the period you set.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum deposit amount on daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Limits take effect immediately upon setting. Increasing a limit requires a 24-hour waiting period before the increase activates — giving you time to reconsider. Reducing a limit takes effect immediately.

Loss Limits

Cap the total amount you can lose within a set time period. Once your loss limit is reached, you will not be able to place further bets until the period resets. Reductions are immediate; increases follow the same 24-hour cooling period as deposit limits.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum time limit for individual gaming sessions. When your time limit is reached, you will receive a notification and be logged out of your session automatically. This tool is particularly useful for keeping late-night sessions in check.

Reality Checks

Receive periodic on-screen reminders during gameplay showing how long you have been playing and your net position for the session. Reality checks appear at intervals you choose (15, 30, or 60 minutes) and cannot be dismissed without acknowledging them.

Cooling-Off Period

Take a temporary break from gambling without fully closing your account. You can set a cooling-off period of24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week, or 1 month. During this period, you cannot log in or access any gambling features. The period cannot be shortened once set.

Self-Exclusion

Request a full self-exclusion from the Singobet Platform for a minimum of 6 months, or permanently. Self-exclusion is actioned immediately with no grace period. Your account will be closed, all marketing communications stopped, and re-registration blocked. This is our most serious responsible gambling tool.

How to access your tools: Log in to your Singobet account → go to Account Settings → select "Responsible Gambling". All tools listed above are available there. You can also contact our24/7 live chat support team to activate any tool on your behalf — they are trained to help and will never try to disuade you.

Know the Signs

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling rarely starts with a single obvious moment. It usually develops gradually. The following signs can indicate that gambling is shifting from entertainment to something more harmful — in yourself or someone you know.

Spending more money than you planned, or chasing losses by depositing more to "win it back".

Gambling with money you cannot afford to lose — funds set aside for rent, bills, food, or savings.

Feeling anxious, irritable, or restless when you are not gambling, or when you try to stop.

Hiding your gambling activity from family members or lying about the amount of time or money spent.

Missing work, social commitments, or neglecting responsibilities because of gambling.

Borrowing money, taking loans, or selling possessions to fund gambling activity.

Gambling to escape from problems, stress, depression, or feelings of loneliness.

Feeling that you need to gamble with progressively larger amounts to achieve the same excitement.

Self-Assessment

Check In With Yourself

Honest self-reflection is the starting point. Ask yourself the following questions. If you answer "yes" to two or more, we encourage you to use our responsible gambling tools or speak to a support organisation.

1

Have you ever spent more than you originally intended on a single gambling session?

2

Have you ever gambled to try to recover money you had previously lost?

3

Has your gambling ever caused arguments or conflict with family members or a partner?

4

Have you ever skipped work, study, or important commitments because of gambling?

5

Have you ever felt the need to gamble in secret or hide your activity from others?

6

Have you ever felt that you would be better off without gambling in your life?

7

Do you find it difficult to stop gambling even when you intended to?

8

Have you ever borrowed money or sold something to fund a gambling session?

If this resonates, you are not alone. Reaching out is the right step. Use your Singobet account tools or contact a support organisation listed below.

Protecting Minors

Keeping Under-21s Safe

Singobet is strictly an adult platform. No one under 21 years of age may register, deposit, or gamble on the Platform under any circumstances. We enforce this through:

  • Mandatory date-of-birth submission at registration, with automatic rejection of applications indicating under-21 age.
  • KYC identity verification that confirms the player's actual age against government-issued ID before withdrawal capability is activated.
  • Immediate closure of any account found to be held by a person under 21, with all deposits returned.
  • Prohibition of any account sharing that could allow minor to access an adult's Singobet account.

If you share a device with family members, we strongly recommend using parental control software to prevent underage access to gambling sites. Many devices and internet service providers in Malaysia offer parental control features — check with your ISP or device settings.

If you believe a minor may have accessed or attempted to access the Singobet Platform, please notify our support team immediately via live chat. We take such reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

Healthy Habits

Tips for Playing Responsibly

The following habits help keep gambling in its rightful place — as entertainment, not a financial strategy.

Budget Before You Play

Decide how much you can afford to spend before you open the Platform. Treat it like entertainment spending — a cinema ticket, a restaurant meal. Once it's gone, stop.

Never Chase Losses

A losing session doesn't become a winning one by depositing more. Chasing losses is one of the most common patterns that leads to problem gambling.

Take Regular Breaks

Step away from the screen. Regular breaks maintain perspective and help you make clearer decisions about when to continue and when to stop.

Keep It Fun

If you're not enjoying a session — if you feel stressed, frustrated, or compelled rather than entertained — that's a signal to log out. Gambling should feel light, not heavy.

Don't Gamble to Cope

If you find yourself turning to Singobet after a hard day at work, after a fight, or when feeling low — that's a pattern worth examining carefully.

Talk to Someone

If gambling is feeling out of control, tell someone you trust. A family member, friend, or support organisation can make a significant difference.

Play Well. Play Responsibly.

Your wellbeing matters more than your wager. If you need to set limits or take a break, we make it easy — no questions asked.

Singobet is committed to responsible gambling. This platform is for players aged 21 and above only. Online gambling involves financial risk — only ever gamble with money you can afford to lose. If gambling is affecting your wellbeing, Talian Kasih 15999 is available 24 hours a day.
